Trans-Rep

A SWIFT powerful comprehensive reporting engine which satisfies the bank’s management and central bank increasing demand for specific information and statistical reports on the SWIFT sent and received messages. It is fully integrated with the SWIFT Alliance System and works in real-time as well in batch mode depending on the Alliance. The successfully sent and received messages will be captured and copied to an external secure database system, which allows easier manipulation of the data.

The application supports the generation of Static and Dynamic Reports. The Static Reports are ready to run reports designed to respond to the daily and periodic bank’s and central bank’s reporting needs, while the Dynamic Reports are designed for more sophisticated ad-hoc reports and can be easily generated by any trained user.

The application supports also the generation of reports showing the messages related to a specific person.

In addition, the application allows reprinting of the I/O message in a SWIFT readable format, which solves the issue of printing archived messages.

The application has also a powerful scheduling tool to generate the reports according to a pre-specified timetable.


The AEG Powerful Message Reporting System
Trans-Rep is a powerful reporting tool, specifically designed for the Alliance system to enhance its functionality, which generates sophisticated statistical reports. The Input / Output messages are extracted from the SWIFT Alliance database and stored into a separate secure database in order to facilitate the retrieval of statistical information.


Message Viewing Interface
Trans-Rep has a powerful message viewing interface allowing search in the DB according to different criteria and to display the header and text information of the retrieved messages.


Message Printing Facility
Messages searched based on certain criteria can be printed in a similar format as the “Message Partner” printout of the Alliance system. This relieves the users from postponing the message archive process in Alliance due to the lengthy printout of the message from the archive.


Message Posting
The application offers the facility for manual tracking of messages already posted in accounting.


Trans-Rep Static Reports
The number of standard reports developed are based on the general bank’s requirements. They can be generated manually or scheduled at certain date and time. The generated reports can be printed on paper, files or saved on Excel spreadsheet.Some of those reports include:

  • Transactions value by sender or by correspondent
  • Transactions by Currency, by Beneficiary, by date, by Country, by correspondent, by sender, by MT, by sub format, by umid etc.
  • Transaction by Network Status
  • Input/Output Message Details by Correspondent
  • Detail and summary information of searched transactions

Trans-Rep Dynamic Reports
 The Trans_Rep application allows the user to generate ad-hoc reports in a dynamic way using the AEG Dynamic Reporting Tool. This tool is fully integrated in the application and helps the user to:

  • Select the fields to be displayed in the report
  • Specify search criteria such as correspondent BIC, Message type, sub-format (Input or Output), beneficiaryname etc.
  • Specify the way to group the records using “Group By”

Application Security
Access to the application is restricted to authorized users. The users will be granted roles and permissions and authorization to run and view specified reports.


Application Platform
Trans-Rep runs on Alliance Access in real-time mode using the Application Tool Kit (ADK) run-time. It also runs on Alliance Entry with limited functionality. Trans-Rep can read Alliance archive files to download the bank’s old messages. Trans-Rep support ORACLE and MS SQL databases.
