AEG SWIFT-Integration Application (Mid-Sys)
Is an integration application, designed to
integrate the back-office applications with the SWIFT interface, it
supports batch mode processing and is based on TCP/IP communication
protocol. It reads the back-office files, which can be supplied in
simple text format, excel sheets or database tables, checks the
contained messages, converts them into SWIFT complaint MT format and
inserts them into the SWIFT Alliance System database. It supports
selected number of SWIFT messages.
Helps Integrating your
Back Office Applications with the SWIFT System
Mid-Sys is an integration application
developed to convert frequently used back-office system’s messages
and transactions generated in proprietary format into swift
compliant format and enable them to be inserted, processed and
handled by the SWIFT interface.
Mid-Sys Integration
Application
The
Mid-Sys application, designed to integrate the back--office
applications with the SWIFT interface, supports batch mode
processing and is based on TCP/IP communication protocol.
It reads the back-office files, which can be
supplied in simple text format, excel sheets or database tables,
checks the contained messages, converts them into SWIFT complaint MT
format and inserts them into the SWIFT system database. The
proprietary format of the files and transactions will be defined to
the application using a user-friendly interface.
The administrator should specify the fields’
types, structure, fields’ delimiters and sequence. The table of
substitution for non SWIFT characters and for utilized code words
should also be defined.
Mid-Sys Functionality
The application performs the following
actions:
Checks the fields and maps them to the message’s SWIFT fields
Checks for non SWIFT characters and replaces them Checks for
non SWIFT code words and replaces them
Checks for missing mandatory fields and adds them as
specified
Converts the message and the file to SWIFT internal format
Handles interrelated messages, as the case with MT940/MT950,
where the number of interrelated messages varies depending on
the number of transactions in the statement
Received SWIFT messages will be converted to
the back--office proprietary format.
Mid-Sys supports currently
the messages MT103, MT110, MT200, MT202, MT300, MT940 and MT950.
The package can be
customized to consider the particularity of any specific message
type.
Mid-Sys Versions
Mid-Sys exists in two versions:
As standalone application
As DLL function to be called from back-office applications
Application Security
The configuration parameters should be defined by authorized users.
Authentication can be added to the converted messages. This
authentication can be read, recognized and checked by the file
transfer component “Application Interface” of the Alliance
Interface.
Application Platform
Mid-Sys runs on Alliance Access and Entry and it can be
installed on the same server or on a separate machine
Mid-Sys supports ORACLE and MS SQL databases
Events Logging and Audit Trail
An event and audit trail log keeps track of successful and
unsuccessful events and of errors which occurred during the
execution of the application. It can be consulted by authorized
users.
