The Central Bank of Bahrain (Formerly BMA) has
chosen BCIS , AEG and ITS for the delivery and
implementation of an RTGS system for the Kingdom of
Bahrain.
The RTGS project is one of the state of
the art projects in this domain and based on the latest
hardware and software technology and using the SWIFT
network as backbone. The project includes installation
of a SWIFT Alliance Gateway and a dedicated SWIFTAlliance system and developing a web-enabled
application to allow the RTGS members to consult the
system about their accounts positions and latest
transactions. Bulk payments and reports will be
exchanged using SWIFTNet file transfer technology called FILEAct.
BCIS is providing the software, ITS the
HP hardware and AEG the SWIFT products, installation,
integration, training and support.
